After nearly 5 and half decades, it looks like a feature film dedicated to the comic character
Turok may be hitting theaters sometime in the near future. The news comes from
Adam Beach (
Flags of our Fathers) who voiced the iconic character in the 2008 animated DVD movie “
Turok: Son of Stone“. There have been rumors on a possible theatrical film for years but this latest quote from Beach doesn't really give a specific date of production. In fact, the theatrical version could be years away.
Still, let's here what Beach had to say to MTV.
“We just finished the animated movie and now we're going into the feature film movie [which should lens] hopefully in a couple years. We're about to set up meetings to develop a script and put it out there,” Beach enthused. “I'll have to beef up, and be a good guy, and save the world!”
