New Trailer For AFTER EARTH Is Here & It Looks Cool!

So, we finally have the second trailer for After Earth, and it actually looks pretty cool (don’t know why I had a bad feeling about this in the first place). Make sure you check out the rest of this report to find the 2-minute preview of the whole thing, and take a better look at Will & Jaden Smith and all those creepy animals. Guess that explains the danger is real part of the story…

Once again, I’m here to remind you that M.Night Shyamalan directed the movie from a script he wrote with Gary Whitta which centers on a legendary General Cypher Raige played by Will Smith and his son Kitai, played by Jaden Smith, who embark on a perilous journey in order to return to Nova Prime.

A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige and his legendary father Cypher stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

Beside Jaden and Will Smith, After Earth also stars Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo, and Isabelle Fuhrman, and the movie is set to open on June 7th, 2013.
