Alison Brie, Megan Mullally, Erin Moriarty, Gabriel Basso and More in TOY’S HOUSE
You already know that Jordan Vogt-Roberts is going to be in charge of an indie pic titled Toy's House, but I'm sure you're not so familiar with his quite interesting cast list.
Well, ok, we're here today to correct that, and inform you that Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso and Moises Arias have joined the project which already stars Erin Moriarty, Alison Brie, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman.
So, as you see, we have a lot of teenagers on board for a movie which will center on three unhappy teenage boys who flee to the wilderness where they build a makeshift house and live off the land. Quite logically, the trio will soon realize they may not be ready to grow up just yet. Why should they anyway?
And now, a few words about the roles. Robinson, who's best known from “Melissa and Joey” is on board to play the lead, boy named Joe Toy, a sharp-witted teen who can't stand living with his grumpy father, played by Offerman.
“The Big C” Basso will star as his best friend Patrick, character described as a gentle giant who looks out for Joe.
On the other hand, Arias should come on board to portray character named Biaggio, a social outcast who finds acceptance from the other two boys. Mullally will play Patrick's mother, while Brie will star as Joe's sister. Moriarty jumps in to play a beautiful teen who comes between Joe and Patrick, and Rajskub will play a local cop searching for the three boys.
At the end of this report, let us also mention that Chris Galletta is behind the comedy script, and production is set to get underway this July in Cleveland.
As usual, we'll keep an eye on it, so stay tuned!
