All Superheroes Must Die is described as Kick-Ass meets Saw. Well, the film originally titled Vs has a new name and a release date.
Starring, written and directed by Jason Trost, the flick will be available on VOD January 1st, 2013 with limited theatrical run following on January 4th, 2013.
With a low budget of less than $1 million, the action movie exhibits a darker and more realistic approach towards the superhero genre.
All Superheroes Must Die premiered at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival last year. The plot follows a four masked avengers who are stripped of their superpowers by their arch-nemesis, whom they defeated years earlier…or so they thought.
They must rescue hostages scattered throughout the town in a series of brutal challenges. Anti-superhero piece also stars James Remar, Jason Trost, Sophie Merkley, and Sean Whalen.
