…reimagines the inner, poetic, and spiritual life of Norma Jeane Baker – the child, the woman, the fated celebrity and idolized blonde the world came to know as Marilyn Monroe.Or, as director Dominik explained in an interview with The Playlist:
It starts when she’s seven and it ends when she dies. It’s sort of a Polanski descent-into-madness-type movie. It’s about this orphan girl who gets lost in the woods. This definitely sounds interesting, especially when we add a previous description of the movie – an emotional nightmare fairy tale. In other words – the lines between fantasy and reality become very blurred in the story. As we mentioned at the beginning of this report, Dominik’s also confirmed that Naomi Watts is still attached to play the lead, although he added that anything can happen. Well, we’re definitely excited about Blonde, which will likely shoot next year, so we’ll keep an eye on it. In the meanwhile, let us know what you think about the whole thing, are you even interested in another biopic?
