Film enthusiasts, brace yourselves!Following the director's part, here is what Ant Timpson is going to offer the audience in the next picture “Bookworm” with Elijah Wood, who is famous for choosing extraordinary and chic parts and who invested interesting and harmonized emotions in the previous picture “Come to Daddy. ”

Now, FlickerLab's animated short, “Bookworm,” tells the story of a young girl (Nell Fisher) who is forced to reconnect with her estranged father with whom she has not seen in years — think Elijah Wood. A father-daughter team goes into tangling terrains in New Zealand intending to pursue the black panther that is thought to exist in the region. But the premise described above is already quite intriguing, and that's not all: the main character of the series – an American magician played by Wood – is described as a sloppy Criss Angel down on his luck. This simple yet effective change brings subtle complexity and subtext into the story and offers Wood the opportunity to stretch his as an actor who is always immersed deeply into somewhat peculiar and intricate characters.

Wood and Fisher are accompanied in this movie by many talented actors Morganna O'Reily and Michael Smiley. Together with the above mentioned ensemble cast, Timpson's direction assures a promising movie that would not be ordinary in today's highly commercialized movie industry. Anyone who is a fan of Timpson's previous work, which includes “Turbo Kid” and “The Greasy Strangler”, will likely get a lot out of watching “Bookworm”.

While “Bookworm” has not had its full international release date publicized yet, it is set to premier in New Zealand cinemas on the 8th of August, and it is eagerly awaited. They presented glimpses of CGI infused New Zealand scenery, strange characters, and sincere family drama masquerading itself as a quite whimsical search for a mythical creature.

For those who have been tracking Elijah Wood from his high-profile breakthrough and leading-man roles to his low-profile character roles in independent films, “Bookworm” is another highlight of his string. People who are looking for uniqueness and inspiration can find them in the story of a washed-up magician trying to find his way back into his audience's hearts and into his daughter's affection through an extraordinary journey.

All in all, “Bookworm” is expected to cast its spell and provide perfect amusing moments coming with the powerful cast and quite an interesting plot united by an experienced director Ant Timpson. Save the date for August 8th, and prepare for this enchanting and adventurous journey into the New Zealand bush.
