Well, it does, actually. Because he will play that Tom guy, who is in the grip of grief following the death of his lover. When he meets the family of the deceased, he learns the mother was not aware of her son’s sexual orientation or of his relationship with Tom.
If you ask me – this already looks like the perfect job for young Jones. Dolan, who will direct Tom A La Ferme, also stands behind the script which he co-wrote with Michel Marc Bouchard. And, like that’s not enough – he will also star in the whole thing!
Dolan, Charles Gillibert and Nathanael Karmitz will produce the movie, and production is set to get under way in Montreal within days.
Actually, Dolan will play Tom. (It is a French-language film after all, and I don’t think Jones speaks French.) Jones will play an unspecified English-speaking role.
