The Twilight actor
Cam Gigandet has landed a new and unusual movie, Johnson and he'll co-star with comedian
Nick Thune. The duo will share the titular role in different senses.
Penned by
Jeff Tetreault and directed by
Huck Botko (2010 R-rated comedy The Virginity Hit), the story follows Rich Johnson (Gigandet), a rich, young womanizer whose penis splits from his body and takes human form (Thune).
In other words, Gigandet will play Johnson, and Thune will play Johnson's ‘johnson', which is no doubt a concept rich for comedy.
Johnson will start erecting, uh-huh, I mean go into production October 10th in Chicago.
Gigandet recently wrapped erotic thriller Plush and will soon be seen in John Stockwell's Seal Team Six.
Thune, who has appeared numerous times on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,' (and on each occasion, he won) has had minor roles in Judd Apatow's 2007 comedy Knocked Up, Mike Judge's Extract and Paul Feig's and the indie film Highway 61 Re: Revisited opposite Tobin Bell. Thune is set also to co-write and co-exec produce an untitled hipsters project, a multi-camera comedy for NBC and Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Road banner.
