ForLovesSake-Photo1 Funny thing how almost every single image from the upcoming Takashi Miike‘s The Legend of Love & Sincerity or For Love's Sake (Ai to makoto) movie looks fantastic. I wasn't so enthusiastic about this project the last time I wrote about it, but now – I'm definitely in! So, what can I tell you guys – make sure you check out five new photos from the movie which will premiere as a Midnight Screening at Cannes this month. ForLovesSake-Photo1 The movie is actually based on the popular Ikki Kajiwara's 1970s manga The Legend Of Love And Sincerity and centers on a high school good girl Ai, played by Emi Takei, who is determined to help delinquent teenager Makoto, played by Satoshi Tsumabuki, to pull himself together. But her kindness is returned with only more shameful behavior, and devoted Ai soon finds herself in real danger when tough Yuki also falls in love with bad boy Makoto… ForLovesSake-Photo3 Just for a record, Japanese film-maker Takashi Miike is no stranger when it comes to Cannes Film Festival. He screened in Competition last year with Hara-Kiri: Death Of A Samurai so we guess that Ai to makoto will have a lot of success this year as well. Expect to see a lot of action, comedy, music and the school romance from this one, and stay tuned for more details! ForLovesSake-Photo3 ForLovesSake-Photo5
