MAMA Yeah, yeah, I already hear you saying – hey you’re writing about Mama every single day! But it’s not our fault, the movie opens next Friday, we think it’s a cool one, so what the hell – here we go again! We have a brand new featurette to share with you, and this time you’ll have a chance to hear not only what producer Guillermo del Toro has to say about the whole thing, but what Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau think about the project as well! Director Andres Muschietti is bringing us a supernatural thriller that tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. Years laters, they are rescued, they start a new life, but they find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night. [jwplayer mediaid=”131697″] Starring Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Megan Charpentier and Isabelle Nellsse, Mama is here to show us that a mother’s love is forever, and we’ll soon have a chance to watch that creepy love ’cause the movie finaly opens on January 18th, 2013.
Five years ago, Victoria and Lilly vanished from their suburban neighborhood without a trace. Since then, their Uncle Lucas and his girlfriend Annabel have been madly searching for them. But when the kids are found alive in a decrepit cabin, the couple wonders if the girls are the only guests they have welcomed into their home. As Annabel tries to introduce the children to a normal life, she grows convinced of an evil presence in their house. Are the sisters experiencing traumatic stress, or is a ghost coming to visit them? How did the broken girls survive those years all alone? As she answers these disturbing questions, the new mother will find that the whispers she hears at bedtime are coming from the lips of a deadly presence.
