Christian Slater, Super Spy?

From Christian Slater valued appearance in ‘Bobby' to the rather disappointing turn out for ‘He Was A Quiet Man', it seems that he is now doing a better job on the small screen then on the big wide silver one. His recent move to turn up in ‘My Name Is Earl' as some poo wall decorating hippy was brilliant and we'd agree that seeing him on TV would be a welcome turn out, so we're rather pleased to hear that the fella is getting his own show – as a spy.The Hollywood Reporter have revealed that NBC is on the verge of dishing out an untitled drama from writer-producer, Jason Smilovic starring the Slater, which sees man in question as a mild mannered suburban Dad who learns that his alter ego is actually a spy – we've all been there my friend. It is described as ‘Jekyll and Hyde' with a dash of ‘The Bourne Identity' well in that case isn't that just Jason Nesbitt's ‘Jekyll' that turned up a while ago? If it is, and the ultra cool Slater is up for the role, then this is an oncoming project that has just had the interest levels raised.
