Colin Farrell in DEAD MAN DOWN First Official Look

Fiona May 18, 2012 1 comment
Colin Farrell in Dead Man Down Yeah, yeah, we already shared some set photos from the upcoming Dead Man Down movie, but this is an official image from the whole thing which features Colin Farrell, so I'm sure you're going to love it. After all, Farrell leads Niels Arden Oplev‘s romantic thriller together with Noomi Rapace and Dominic Cooper, and wherever there's some good cast involved – we're definitely interested in every single detail! And although he looks a little bit confused in this image, Farrell stars as the right-hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City who is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice, played by Rapace, a crime victim seeking retribution. You're familiar with the rest of the story – their chemistry and intense relationship leads them to execute a violent and cathartic plan for revenge. Dead Man Down is written by Fringe scribe J. H. Wyman, and also stars Terrence Howard as the above mentioned crime lord, Dominic Cooper as Farrell's best friend and Isabelle Huppert (unfortunately, still no details about her role). At the end, let us also inform you that folks from FilmDistrict have acquired U.S. distribution rights to the project, and will release the picture next fall. Let us know what you think, and stay tuned! Colin Farrell in Dead Man Down
