According to the Heat Vision, Twentieth Century Fox has hired Contagion writer, Scott Z. Burns to write the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which was a big blockbuster, and we're talking about box-office too.
It is said that the follow-up “is taking story to the next level, with the apes on the path to emerge as society's new rulers”.
The writers of the original film, Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa, were drafting the sequel, while the director Rupert Wyatt and performance capture actor for Caesar, Andy Serkis, are set to return.
