trailer for Contraband. Today we have the first poster for Universal Pictures’ neo-noir/heist thriller, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, written by Aaron Guzikowski, and based upon the film Reykjavik: Rotterdam.
In “Contraband”,
Marc Wahlberg plays Chris Farraday, a family man who has long-abandoned his life of crime. But when his brother-in-law Andy botches up a drug deal, Chris is forced back into doing what he does best—running contraband—to settle Andy’s debt. However, he has a few drug lords do deal with first — especially when they’re threatening his wife (
Kate Beckinsale) and kids.
The film also stars Ben Foster, Giovanni Ribisi, J.K. Simmons, Caleb Landry Jones, Diego Luna and Lukas Haas.
