This schedule may be too aggressive for the artistic process at EON Productions, who have savoured the longer than usual break between films to craft the script for Skyfall and have other non-007 related projects in the works, too. Craig himself is keen to have a breather before kicking off another Bond outing, telling press recently that he is not taking any other film work on until after all the Skyfall promotional work is over in the New Year.Skyfall hit theaters on November 9th, 2012. Daniel Craig On Board for Two More Bond Films?
The blonde, blue-eyed Daniel Craig best known as the sixth actor to portray secret agent James Bond has been reportedly confirmed for at least two more James Bond films, so he would star in both the 24th and 25th films in the Bond series.
Five outings would make Craig the third longest serving Bond actor, in terms of films produced, though it has taken six years to make three films, behind only Roger Moore's seven and Sean Connery's six official (and one unofficial) efforts. On the other hand, both Connery and Timothy Dalton left the role a film early for different reasons.
However, no official announcement has been made as yet.
Sony are planning to get the films back on a bi-annual schedule, though:
