Daniel Craig To Star In DREAM HOUSE
It looks like Daniel Craig might be starring in the psychological thriller after his commercial success in his two turns in the iconic James Bond role, for “Casino Royale” and “Quantum of Solace.” Craig is in early talks to star in “Dream House” for indie producer Morgan Creek. The film will be directed by Jim Sheridan (“In America,” “My Left Foot,” “In the Name of the Father,” “The Boxer,” “Get Rich or Die Tryin'”) from a screenplay by David Loucka (“The Dream Team,” “Eddie,” “Borderline“). Daniel Craig would play a man who moves his family to an idyllic small town, only to find his house haunted by its former inhabitants, who were murdered there. He recently appeared in “Flashbacks of a Fool,” his second Bond adventure “Quantum Of Solace” and World War II film “Defiance.” His next is Steven Spielberg‘s animated “The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn.” Craig just signed up for the Broadway drama “A Steady Rain.” His name also surfaced in connection with “The Eagle of the Ninth,” Kevin Macdonald‘s period movie for Focus Features.

The new movie will be filmed in Oakville ontario on the property of Garloc Gardens. After the movie will be finished the house will be burned to the ground and Garloc with return to it’s normal community park.
Movie is being filmed right now – they’ve built a replica house in the park (Garloc Gardens) opposite the real house – they are going to do a control burn of the replica house so that it can be re-shot if needed. The movie trailers are back, and the production team are working away – it’s kind of exciting as I drive past there most days on my way to work.
