Mad Chance’s Andrew Lazar and Circle of Confusion’s David Alpert and Rick Jacobs are joining forces to bring IDW Publishing‘s graphic novel Lore, created by Ashley Wood and T.P. Louise to theaters.
Now, Warner Bros. is in the process of picking up the adapted screenplay Lore, from monster expert scribes Cory Goodman & Jeremy Lott and Dwayne Johnson has signed a seven-figure deal to star in the film.
The Rock will be kept very busy, no doubt, as he’s set to appear in the GI Joe: Retaliation, Fast Six, Pain and Gain, Ciudad, Hercules and the third Journey installment.
The graphic novel by husband-and-wife team, follows an ancient line of protectors known as the secret society of Shepherds who defend our world against dangerous mythological beasts.
