Emile Hirsch A Long Way Down is an upcoming Pascal Chaumeil‘s adaptation of Nick Hornby‘s novel of the same name that will have quite interesting cast on board. Pierce Brosnan and Toni Collette are already on board to star in the whole thing, but according to the latest reports, Emile Hirsch is about to join this project as well! At this moment we know that the movie will follow a quartet of people who meet on New Year's Eve and form a surrogate family to help one another through their suicidal moments. Collette is on board to play a mother of a disabled son while Brosnan will play a talkshow host whose life has been ruined by a scandalous affair. As for the latest added Hirsch, he will probably star as a character named J.J., a pizza delivery man and former rocker who gave up his dreams of being a rock star to be with a girl only for the band to break up and his girlfriend to dump him. Production on A Long Way Down is scheduled to begin this fall. We'll keep an eye on it! Emile Hirsch

A Long Way Down 2013 Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette, Imogen Poots, and Emile Hirsch star, Pascal Chaumeil directs the film adaptation of Nick Hornby’s novel A Long Way Down. New Year’s Eve London up on the roof, four individuals meet with the same intentions of bringing the year’s end to a permanent close. A Long Way Down is complicated, up is the only way to go, making a commitment to stay together this all-star team of actors is phenomenally appealing.
