Emma Stone, what a busy young lady! First she worked with Marc Webb on
The Amazing Spider-Man, then with Ruben Fleischer on
Gangster Squad, and now, it looks that she will continue with director
Cameron Crowe.
So, consider this totally fresh news, so fresh that the whole thing doesn't even have a title at this moment!
But here's what we know about it so far. Cameron Crowe has a new job – currently untitled love story, and Emma Stone is attached to play the female lead.
Yeah, I already hear you saying – thanks for nothing, but hey – don't shoot the messenger! Maybe now is the perfect time to add that
Deadline reports the movie is a two-hander, and that the tone is reminiscent of past Crowe films “Almost Famous” and “Jerry Maguire”?
The good thing is that Crowe is now searching for a male lead (logical thing to do when you direct a love story, right?), because I'm definitely curious to see who will come on board to play Stone's sweetheart.
Anyway, Crowe is responsible for the movie script as well, and Scott Rudin will produce.
The movie starts shooting next spring, so, make sure you stay tuned!
