The End of the World is an upcoming disaster comedy formerly known as
The Apocalypse. Yeah, it's completely weird and original project which comes from
Seth Rogen and his longtime writing partner
Evan Goldberg.
The good thing about this project is that some great cast is involved, and today we're here to add
Emma Watson, Jason Segel and
David Krumholtz to the list.
As you probably know, the project is inspired by a short called Jay and
Seth vs. the Apocalypse with Rogen and
Jay Baruchel playing themselves, holed up in an apartment as they dealt with the end of the world.
Now, we'll have an expanded version of the whole thing – Rogen and Baruchel are there again, with
James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and
Craig Robinson.
Of course – all playing themselves again, as they're stuck in Franco's Los Angeles apartment facing an apocalypse. As for the new additions, Watson is (still) in talks to play herself, while Segel and Krumholtz are already set to star (as themselves, again).
The End of the World is currently filming, and is already set to open on June 14th, 2013.
