Ewan McGregor is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood. Few days ago we reported that he will star in an Australian heist thriller Son of a Gun, and now comes the word that he's attached to star in a project titled Born to Be King together with Kate Hudson!
So, we're here to start a little romantic chat, because the movie, which comes from director Peter Capaldi, is already being described as a mistaken-identity romantic comedy!
Born to Be King will revolve around a film extra, played by McGregor, who has an uncanny resemblance to a movie star and a Hollywood starlet, played by Hudson, who's at war with her co-star and begins to fall for the extra.
This looks like a horror to me, but if they say it's a rom-com, then it's rom-com!
Just for a record, if you have something against the story – blame it on Capaldi, because he's responsible for a screenplay as well!
Stephanie Denton, Indomina Releasing's head of international sales and distribution looks quite excited about the whole thing.
She already explained that this story is “…an exciting, entertaining and genuinely funny project”, and also added that Ewan and Kate are the perfect onscreen pair to bring this story to life.
The film will begin shooting in January at Pinewood Studios in the U.K.
