Ferrell, Neeson, Offerman, Brie Join Voice Cast For LEGO: PIECE OF RESISTANCE
Alison Brie, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and Nick Offerman have joined the previously announced Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Chris Pratt and Morgan Freeman to the Warner Bros and Village Roadshow's Lego feature 3D film, Lego: Piece of Resistance.
Pratt is voice-starring as Emmet, a regular Lego mini-figure who is mistakenly identified as the key to saving the world, the mythical Master Builer. He's drafted into a quest to stop an evil tyrant – but he's not ready.
Ferrell will reportedly play the main villain President Business, a CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination and managing his own life. Neeson is the president's powerful henchman, simply known as Bad Cop.
Offerman (Parks and Recreation) will voice a revenge-seeking pirate, while Brie will be a member of Emmet's team with ‘a powerful secret.'
Arnett is Batman, Freeman is Vitruvius and Banks role is still under wraps. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street) are directing from their original script the 3D animated pic, which is set for a February 7, 2014 release.
