And so we finally get our first look at Amanda Seyfried as infamous porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic Lovelace. The first clip released from the low-budget film Lovelace features no nudity at all and instead wants to highlight Seyfried's talents.
For a movie based on ‘The Complete Linda Lovelace,' the only authorized bio of the Deep Throat star by Eric Danville, that's about Linda Boreman's rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of one of the earliest mainstream X-rated films, and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano.
Her life included a rocky relationship with charismatic hustler Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard), her husband whom she later accused of abuse and manipulating her into the porn industry.
Joining the Les Miserables actress in the film directed by filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (Howl) are Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, James Franco, Eric Roberts, Adam Brody, and Chloe Chloe Sevigny.
Lovelace also has its first screening at Sundance on January 22nd, 2013.
