Vin Diesel is notorious for actively teasing his fans with more exclusive Facebook photos. This time he has unveiled our first look at Kurt Russell, working alongside the actor and co-star Paul Walker on the set of Fast & Furious 7.
Details as to what that role might be are still under wraps, though it is known that Denzel Washington was originally wanted for the part, and Russell seems to be on Dominic and Brian’s good side. He would reportedly play the father of Jesse, an ADD-rattled street racer and computer nerd who ended up, in the first film, getting shot and killed in a drive-by on Dom’s house.
Kurt Russell, such an honor to work with… P.s. One from set…
New look from the set doesn’t reveal much of the character, however.
The seventh installment of the street racing-turn-caper thriller franchise is directed by James Wan (The Conjuring) who takes over the helm from Justin Lin.
Djimon Hounsou, Ronda Rousey and Jason Statham are added to the cast ensemble to join returning members like Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson; Lucas Black who played Sean Boswell in the third movie is brought back as well.
The production kicked off earlier this month in Atlanta, Georgia.
Fast & Furious 7 eyes a June 11th, 2014 release.
Check out the photo below with another that Diesel posted a couple of days ago.
Cast member Ludacris has also posted a video of cars that will be used in the movie.
