A24 continues its streak of thought-provoking films with We Live In Time, a moving love story directed by the acclaimed Irish filmmaker John Crowley. Known for his masterful work in Boy A and Brooklyn, Crowley's latest offering stars two of Hollywood's brightest: Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh. Both Oscar nominees, Garfield and Pugh take on the roles of Tobias and Almut, a couple whose lives are forever altered by an unexpected encounter.

The film, which premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival to glowing reviews, is slated for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024. Early reactions highlight the emotional depth and chemistry between the lead actors, calling the film a “revolutionary act of love.” Crowley, known for weaving tender yet profound stories, promises a journey through love, loss, and the passage of time. In this decade-spanning romance, the audience is taken through intimate snapshots of Tobias and Almut's life together — from their early courtship to the momentous challenges that shake their very foundation.

What makes We Live In Time especially compelling is its ability to transcend the conventional romance genre. As the characters grapple with the boundaries of time, the film invites viewers to reflect on the fleeting nature of life and love. Garfield and Pugh's performances are heartfelt and genuine, leaving a lasting impression long after the credits roll. While the small supporting cast includes talents like Adam James, Aoife Hinds, and Marama Corlett, it's truly Garfield and Pugh who steal the show.

Produced by Benedict Cumberbatch and written by Nick Payne, the film carries A24's signature mix of artistry and emotional depth. If you're a fan of films that explore love's complexities, We Live In Time is sure to be one of the year's must-see movies.

Mark your calendars for October 11th — this is one film you won't want to miss!
