Tilda Swinton and
Tom Hiddleston star as a pair of vampires who have been in love across centuries in a universe entirely of
Jim Jarmusch's own creation. It's all about crypto-vampire love story titled
Only Lovers Left Alive.
A long-haired Hiddleston, who replaced
Michael Fassbender in January 2012, portrays Adam, a deeply depressed underground musician who's deeply depressed by the direction of human activities and reunites with his centuries-long lover, Eve (Swinton). Their idyll, however, is soon interrupted by Eve's crazy younger sister Ava (
Mia Wasikowska).
Also starring
John Hurt and
Anton Yelchin, the film might arrive at the Cannes Film Festival this May and theaters later this year.
