First Look: Swinton & Hiddleston In Jarmusch’s ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE

Nick Martin January 30, 2013 Add a Comment
Jim Jarmusch Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston star as a pair of vampires who have been in love across centuries in a universe entirely of Jim Jarmusch's own creation. It's all about crypto-vampire love story titled Only Lovers Left Alive. A long-haired Hiddleston, who replaced Michael Fassbender in January 2012, portrays Adam, a deeply depressed underground musician who's deeply depressed by the direction of human activities and reunites with his centuries-long lover, Eve (Swinton). Their idyll, however, is soon interrupted by Eve's crazy younger sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska). Also starring John Hurt and Anton Yelchin, the film might arrive at the Cannes Film Festival this May and theaters later this year. Check out the first image from an upcoming romance drama vampire film written and directed by Jarmusch, which looks just as cool and sinister as you'd expect.
