We have our first look at the first teaser trailer and some new images for director James Bobin’s sequel Muppets Most Wanted, starring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal, Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey.
In the follow-up, which looks to be a bit more like the old Muppet films, the gang is on a successful tour in Europe, but gets into trouble when Kermit gets confused with his jewel-heisting doppelganger, Constantine.
Nicholas Stoller is also reprising his screenwriter role though no Jason Segel or Amy Adams this time.
From the brief glimpses it looks like Fey and Burrell steal the show, while we don’t get to see much of Gervais’ performances.
Muppets Most Wanted, also starring Christoph Waltz, Ray Liotta, Tom Hiddleston, Frank Langella, Danny Trejo, Ross Lynch and Debbie Ryan, arrives on March 21st, 2014.

Here’s the official synopsis:
Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais, creator of “Derek” and the Golden Globe®- and Emmy®-winning series “The Office” and “Extras.” The film stars Golden Globe-, Emmy- and SAG Award®-winning actress and writer Tina Fey (“30 Rock,” “Mean Girls,” “Date Night”) as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Emmy Award winner Ty Burrell (TV’s “Modern Family”) as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.
