Stuart Beattie's graphic novel adaptation
I, Frankenstein, ahead of its unveiling at Comic-Con next week.
EW has debuted the first official image of a shirtless
Aaron Eckhart (The
Dark Knight) as the titular monster.
Looking a lot prettier than we're used to, Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam is set in the present day where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power. He soon finds himself caught in the middle as both sides want to learn the secret of his creation.
The dark action-thriller co-stars
Yvonne Strahovski, Bill Nighy, Socratis Otto, Miranda Otto, Aden Young and
Jai Courtney.
Based on the graphic novel by
Kevin Grevioux (Underworld)
I, Frankenstein is set to debut on January 24th, 2014.
Check out the new image of Eckhart in a cool spin on the classic monster tale.
