So, another sci-fi action is coming, and this time director Joseph Kosinski is in charge. Beside Tom Cruise who plays the lead, Oblivion also stars Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo, and is already set to open on April 19th, 2013!
The movie is based on the Radical press graphic novel by Kosinski and Arvid Nelson, while William Monahan, Karl Gajdusek, and Michael Arndt stand behind the script which goes like this:
On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man's confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind. Jack Harper is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth.
