I must admit that this thriller looks quite spooky to me, so I'll consider this to be a horror genre, or something like that. Feel free to check out this 2-minute preview of the story, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Beside Wasikowska, Stoker also stars Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver, Alden Ehrenreich and Lucas Till.
Wentworth Miller is behind the script which centers on quite strange family, full of dark secrets.
As you'll see in this video, everything starts when India's father dies in an auto accident. All of the sudden, her Uncle Charlie, played by Goode, (who is a total stranger to young India), comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother, played by Kidman.
Soon after his arrival, India starts to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
Totally weird, I'm telling you.
Stoker opens on March 1st, 2013.
