So far – so good: Paul Weitz‘ upcoming comedy Admission opens in less than two months, and today we have the first TV spot for the whole thing to share with you! Nothing spectacular, just a little reminder that Tina Fey and Paul Rudd both stars in the movie which centers on a college admissions officer at Princeton who goes on a recruiting trip, meets a single dad and also a young student who may or may not be her son. Hm, sounds like fun!
Paul Weitz directed the movie from a script which he co-wrote with Karen Croner, and beside Fey and Rudd, it also stars Michael Sheen, Wallace Shawn, Gloria Reuben, Nat Wolff and Lily Tomlin.
Fey plays straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan who is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Pressman, played by Rudd.

Pressman has surmised that Jeremiah, his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago. Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted – but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.Let us know what you think about this movie so far, and don't forget – Admission opens on March 22nd, 2013.
