Lionsgate has released four TV spots for their Judge
Dredd reboot titled:
Dredd.
Filmed in 3D with stunning slow motion photography sequences, the film returns the celebrated character to the dark, visceral incarnation from John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra's revered comic strip.
The film, directed by
Pete Travis, follows the story of law enforcement officer Judge Dredd, who has been given the authority to arrest, sentence and execute criminals on the spot. When a slow-motion drug wreaks havoc in Dredd's neck of the woods Mega-City One, he and his team set out to put a stop to the dealers.
Dredd, which stars
Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and
Lena Headey, will open on Friday, September 21st, 2012.
