20th Century Fox has provided us with the brand new trailer, poster and a batch of new stills from Son of God, a standalone feature film based on the ratings hit History Channel mini-series ‘The Bible’.
Hot on the heels of that popularity, a cut down version will be in theaters on February 28th, 2014, and now we have the film’s trailer, which offers new scenes and footage from the miniseries.
Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado reprising his role of Jesus Christ as the film spans from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection.
Directed by Christopher Spencer (‘The Bible’) from a script co-written by Colin Swash, Nic Young and Richard Bedser (‘The Bible’) this major motion picture event also includes Greg Hicks, Adrian Schiller, Darwin Shaw, Sebastian Knapp, Joe Wredden, Simon Kunz, Paul Marc Davis, Matthew Gravelle, Amber Rose Revah and Roma Downey.
