Frank Miller has revealed to MTV that he is in talks to direct a big screen version of his own comic book Hard Boiled.
The story focuses on insurance investigator Carl Seitz as he discovers he is a cyborg assassin named Nixon. Miller wrote the original comic in 1990 with Geof Darrow providing art.
Speaking at the NY Comic Con, Miller admitted: “We're talking about [it]. I've got a really unusual way I want to do it.”
Miller co-directed Sin City with Robert Rodriguez and is currently working on a film version of The Spirit.
He added: “I'm in love with directing. I've found a way to expand my career. Comics and directing are really two sides of the same coin. That's what Robert Rodriguez taught me… good drama is good drama.”
