Turkeys are now Free Birds! And we finally have the very first trailer and poster for the whole thing – hope you’ll like it. Described as a brand new buddy comedy for audiences of all ages, the upcoming animated comedy is set to hit theaters this November. Yeah, just in time to get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good! Head inside to check it out… Directed by Jimmy Hayward, Free Birds features the voices of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler, and as we said – the movie is set to hit theaters on November 1st, 2013. It revolves around two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks who must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history – and get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good. After being pardoned by the president, Reggie lives a comfortable life at Camp David, enjoying pizza and telenovelas. On the other hand, Jack is the president and the only member of Turkeys Liberation Front. After initial rivalry, they team up and hijack a time machine in a government lab and travel back in time to the first Thanksgiving to prevent turkeys from becoming traditional holiday meal.
