Director George Nolfi The Adjustment Bureau director George Nolfi is now attached to both helm and oversees a rewrite of his sophomore effort XOXO. The social media thriller XOXO was initially penned by Black Swan writter Mark Heyman and Nolfi will supervise a rewrite by Heyman. A modern day Fatal Attraction, the Facebook thriller XOXO, also compared to Catfish and Hard Candy, explores the dark side of virtual relationships as it follows an up-and-coming executive who blurs the line between his real-life fiancé and his online affair, bringing a whole new meaning to the term ‘poke.' The main character discovers that his Internet romance is seeping into his actual life in a deadly way. The film that will have many stylized visual sequences, Darren Aronofsky will produce alongside Michael London, with the project being developed at Lionsgate. Nolfi most recently worked on the script for Jee-woon Kim's upcoming The Last Stand, the thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Here's to hoping that XOXO will indeed be something worth watching. Stay tuned. Mark Heyman-XOXO Source: Variety
