Columbia Pictures has released six new photos from the highly-anticipated
David Fincher‘s

Based on the hit novel by Stieg Larsson, the film stars Daniel Craig (Cowboys & Aliens) as journalist Mikael Blomkvist, who is enlisted by a wealthy family to solve the mystery of a young girl’s disappearance. Rooney Mara (The Social Network) stars as Lisbeth Salander, a mysterious hacker who assists Blomkvist in his increasingly dangerous hunt to find the truth.
The adaptation also stars
Stellan Skarsgård , Steven Berkoff, Robin Wright, and
Joely Richardson.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has a December 21 release date.
