Day before yesterday we told you that Gareth Edwards‘ (Monsters) new take on Godzilla had begun filming in Vancouver. Today, we get a video Edwards has uploaded from the shot as well as a new batch of set photos that show off some of the movie’s other locations.
While plot details are firmly under wraps, the set photos don’t give away too much either, but they point that the military will play a role in the movie, revealing a slew of military vehicles and extremely thrashed helicopter, as well as an airport terminal location, which, as you will see in the video, appears to be in Japan.
Godzilla 3D stars Aaron Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Ken Watanabe, and is planned for a May 16th, 2014 release in the U.S.
