Magnet Releasing has debuted a new banner and poster for Goon, which will be available on-demand February 24th before hitting select theaters on March 30th, 2012.
The film stars Seann William Scott as a minor league hockey player simply on the team to fight. Also stars Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber, Eugene Levy and Alison Pill.
Baruchel and Evan Goldberg (Superbad) wrote the script and it was directed by Michael Dowse (Take Me Home Tonight).
Here’s the synopsis for Goon:
Goon is the story of Doug Glatt, a down-on-his-luck bouncer, who’s been touched by the fist of God. Upon discovering both his right hook and skates, he joins a hockey team destined for the cellar and inspires them into the playoffs.
