Hey guys, we've just learned that
Greg Berlanti is on board to direct an upcoming sci-fi action titled
Epsilon for Columbia Pictures! At this moment we know that
Life As We Know It helmer will direct the whole thing from a script written by
Rhett Reese and
Paul Wernick (yep, the duo behind
Zombieland), so it's safe to say it already sounds promising, right?
According to
THR,
Epsilon story is set after a failed robot rebellion on an Earth almost entirely devoid of electronic devices and will apparently revolve around a man who discovers he's more human than he thought.
The remaining robots seek refuge on a space station and begin to raise their own human lab rats, which they train to act as their agents.
Reese and Wernick are also on board to produce the project together with
Michael DeLuca, while Jonathan Kadin is overseeing production for Columbia Pictures.
One thing is for sure –
Epsilon has quite interesting team on board, and we have no doubts that Berlanti (who, by the way, worked as a writer on
Green Lantern and
Wrath of the Titans) is the perfect guy for the above mentioned story.
Hope we'll soon have more updates to share, make sure you stay tuned!
