Time for some Galaxy-madness. Madness, ’cause the very first set photos from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy are… well, definitely weird. Red, yellow, blue folks (read: aliens, or whatever) running across the Thames on the Millenium bridge – that’s exactly what we have in the rest of this report. As usual, you will have to click on all these images to enlarge, and we will once again remind you that the upcoming superhero film comes from writer/director James Gunn, and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly and Glenn Close.
In case you forgot, the movie is already set to hit theaters on August 1st, 2014, and is based on the Marvel comic books of the same name and features an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions.
Or, as director Gunn already explained:
Guardians is about a family coming together. It really is about a group of individuals who have acted selfishly and only as individuals, throughout their lives. And they learn something about themselves that makes them heroes.
