Halle Berry fans have nothing to worry about – we’ve just learned that The Call star is set to produce and play the female lead in an upcoming indie comedy (simply) titled Mother. There, Berry will star as a bride who leaves her mobster fiancé at the altar and goes on the run. Sounds pretty cool, head inside to find more details…
So, at this moment we know that Emilio Ferrari and Vincent Cirrincione will produce Mother together with the lovely actress, while Chris Miller will executive produce the project which revolves around:
…a bride who leaves her mobster fiance at the altar and goes on the run. She pretends to be a young man’s mother so she can hide out with him but her wild ways turn everything upside-down.
And that’s basically all we know about the plot so far (read: no director is attached to the project yet).
Still, the good thing is that the film goes into production early next year, so I guess we’ll soon have more updates to share with you.
As for Berry, she’s currently filming (and will next be seen as Storm in) Bryan Singer‘s upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which is already set to hit theaters next May.
