A new international trailer is now online for Nicolas Winding Refn‘s indie thriller “Drive“, starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Albert Brooks, Christina Hendricks, Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman, and it spoils the film even more than the last one.
Opening in theaters on September 16, Drive is the story of a Hollywood stunt driver by day (Gosling), a loner by nature, who moonlights as a top-notch getaway driver-for-hire in the criminal underworld. He finds himself a target for some of LA's most dangerous men after agreeing to aid the husband of his beautiful neighbor, Irene (Mulligan). When the job goes dangerously awry, the only way he can keep Irene and her son alive is to do what he does best—Drive!
The screenplay is written by Hossein Amini (“The Wings of the Dove,” “The Four Feathers”), based on the book by James Sallis.
