Sony Pictures Classics have the U.S. rights for the new film directed by Danish Susanne Bier, the upcoming romantic comedy Love Is All You Need. Pierce Brosnan, well-known for his role as Agent 007 in four James Bond films, plays together with Danish singer-turned-actor Trine Dyrholm (In a Better World).
Originally titled Den Skaldede Frisør (The Bold Hairdresser) the film written by Anders Thomas Jensen has been given the less obscure title for the international market.
Bier’s follow-up to the Oscar winning In a Better World, set in Sorrento, Italy is being billed as a tale about a group of people all seeking love, about passion and happiness, about jealousy and loneliness.
The film is mainly in Danish with Brosnan speaking English, but as the trailer, which you can see below, reveals that he does have a few lines in Danish as well.
Love Is All You Need opens in Denmark on September 6th, but still has no U.S. release date.
