Paramount has firmly denied these rumors, stating that they've archived more 70mm copies of Interstellar than most other films in their collection. While it's true that 70mm prints endure significant wear and tear due to their size and the intensity of their projection, Paramount insists that their copies are well-preserved.

Interstellar, which stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain, was originally released in 2014, grossing over $681 million worldwide and receiving widespread critical acclaim.
