Let's stop this rumor! We finally have something official to share with you, and it goes like this – Mark Wahlberg will definitely star in Transformers 4! And don't worry, this update comes straight from director Michael Bay, who has also revealed the completely new logo for his upcominng sci-fi adventure, hope you'll like it, too!
Unfortunately, everything else about Transformers 4 is still a mistery. So don't expect to hear something spectacular now – plot details are unknown at this moment. We can only repeat that Ehren Krueger is responsible for the script, and that the whole thing will (apparently) not be connected to past installments. The movie will include new characters, which means – expect more interesting names on board!
But, all eyes on Wahlberg now! Here's what Bay had to say about his involvement in the upcoming movie:
Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on Pain and Gain and I'm so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers' legacy.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, Ian Bryce and Tom DeSanto will produce Transformers 4, which is already set to open on June 27th, 2014.
