As you already know, director Bryan Singer stands behind this fantasy adventure which is based on the fairy tale of the same name. The movie centers on a young farmhand named Jack who must rescue a princess from a race of giants after inadvertently opening a gateway to their world.

Beside the above mentioned Hoult, who plays the lead, Jack The Giant Slayer also stars Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Eleanor Tomlinson and Ewan McGregor, and the movie is set to open on March 1st, 2013.
