Jose Padilha‘s new remake, but the details are still unclear.
This newest iteration of the
RoboCop series will feature a cast that already includes
Joel Kinnaman as the titular cybernetic detective, as well as
Gary Oldman,
Abbie Cornish,
Samuel L. Jackson and
Hugh Laurie in supporting roles.
The film written by
Josh Zetumer is supposed to start shooting very soon in Toronto. RoboCop has a tentative release date of August 9th, 2013.
Haley was most recently seen in Tim Burton's cinematic adaptation of the classic TV series Dark Shadows and next up is the Steven Spielberg-directed Lincoln.
Baruchel is currently filming The End of the World in New Orleans, the feature inspired by Seth Rogen and Baruchel's
mock trailer for a movie that didn't exist, Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse.
