The project, described as ‘Die Hard in the White House,' comes with a spec script by Zodiac and The Amazing Spider-Man screenwriter
James Vanderbilt, which the studio acquired back in March for $3 million.
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue will be taken over by a paramilitary group for screening purposes only later this year for a 2013 release.
