Jeremy Renner, known for his iconic roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Mission: Impossible series, has recently disclosed details of his exit from the latter. Fans of the franchise may remember Renner's character, William Brandt, who appeared in two films: It is also important to note that I am comparing two films of the series, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015). Yet, Renner did not appear in the following sequels of the movie, Fallout that was released in 2018 and Dead Reckoning released in 2023.

In a candid interview with Collider, Renner revealed that his decision to leave the franchise was driven by a deeply personal reason: He had a daughter named Ava. In the interview at the age of 53, the action star revealed that he had to prioritize his duties as a father over his role in the television action series. “You see, I had to leave that,” Renner said. “I was meant to do more with them. I love those guys. I love Tom
Renner has a child named Ava with his ex-wife, the Canadian model Sonni Pacheco and the child's age is 11 years. He was also seen as a caring father in many of his interviews and public appearances, which is why the public appreciated him. Despite the actor stepping away from the franchise, he has not completely ruled out the chance of coming back. “I think it might be possible now that my daughter has grown up,” he suggested. “I'd always jump into a Mission: Impossible and then back in Brandt again. It's fantastic. ”
The possibility of Brandt coming back also introduces an interesting aspect for the viewers who are waiting for the next chap. The character is not dead within the movie which makes it possible for Renner to return. The eighth Mission: The Impossible is scheduled to be released in 2025 but there has been no confirmation whether Renner will be in it or not.
Renner's dedication to his daughter was once again seen in an incident that happened in January 2023 when he was involved in a severe snowplough accident that left him with over 30 fractured bones and needing intensive care. He has done very well and has recently gone into details of how much he suffered, including the shocking revelation that his “eyeball was out. ” Renner has mentioned his daughter many times saying that she motivated him to live and fight for his life. In one of his last acts of affection, he released a music video for her, saying, ‘To my daughter, my everything, my only thing, my number one. You are the best part of me. Your grace, your thoughtfulness, and your constitution make me so very proud.'
Renner's story is a testimony to the fact that actors have to make certain sacrifices in their lives and how much the role of family is significant. All that one can do as a fan is to wait and hope for his return, combining his skill with the equally innate talent of portraying a loving father.
